SEWELL, N.J. – The Yeshiva University roller hockey team earned three convincing wins on Sunday afternoon, out in New Jersey. Yeshiva now goes to 14-1-1, good for 29 points. Not only are the Maccabees in first place in the Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association, but are in first place in all of the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association Division II.
Yeshiva defeated Villanova, 9-2, cruised to a 12-0 victory over Delaware, and knocked off Drexel, 4-2.

Jake Ratzker each scored two goals, with the latter two producing an assist each. Sophomore defensemen Benjy Shulman, sophomore forward

In the win over Delaware, sophomore goaltender
Jonathan Jaroslawicz stopped all 14 shots he faced to earn the shutout. Gordon scored a hat-trick and tallied an assist, while Drazin added two goals with three assists. Fuchs tallied a hat-trick of his own. Gavarin added two goals, while senior forward
Etan Bardash and Genuth scored a goal and produced an assist each. Shulman and sophomore defensemen
Michael Fruchter recorded two assists apiece.
In the narrow win against Drexel, Yeshiva scored the first four goals of the game. Drexel rallied with two goals, but it was not enough as Yeshiva earned the sweep. Drazin scored what would eventually be the game-winning goal, while adding an assist. Ratzker and Gordon added a goal each, while Gavarin pitched in with two assists. Fuchs scored the fourth goal to clinch the game. Robin made 17 saves in net. Margulies produced a helper.
Yeshiva will be back in action on Sunday, for a pair of games against Boston University and Stony Brook University, at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. respectively.
