BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team suffered a non-conference loss to Pratt Institute, in straight sets, at the Pratt ARC on Tuesday evening. Set scores were 25-9, 25-12, and 25-22.
Senior middle blocker
Gavriela Colton led the attack with four kills and contributed on defense with two digs and a block. Classmate
Dalia Sieger produced a team-high 12 digs, while producing a kill, service ace, and an assist. Senior setter
Yael Ghelman had seven assists and just as many digs. Sophomore libero
Sarah Leah Zians anchored the defense with five digs.
Senior outside hitter
Ilana Leggiere slammed home two kills, had just as many digs, and scored an ace. Classmate
Emily Neckonoff recorded two kills, a service ace, and a dig. Senior setter
Esther Alexander had a balanced performance with two kills, three assists, just as many digs, and one ace.
Yeshiva will be back in action on Tuesday, October 17, for a non-conference match at John Jay College. First serve is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
