FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's tennis team dropped a Skyline Conference contest to Purchase College, 9-0, on the Queens College Tennis Courts on Thursday evening.
The Panthers (8-1, 4-0 Skyline) won all three doubles matches, and went 6-0 in singles competition, to earn the conference win. Leading the way for the Maccabees (1-7, 1-5 Skyline) was sophomore
Alexandra Huberfeld, as she won a team-high four games in the second set at No. 5 singles. Junior
Bailey Frohlich was victorious in three games in the second set at the first singles position. At No. 4 singles, freshman
Ambre Cherki won three games in the opening set.
Yeshiva will conclude the fall season by hosting Lehman College, at the USTA National Tennis Center, on Wednesday evening. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
