FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's tennis team concluded the fall season with a non-conference loss to Baruch College, 6-3, at the USTA National Tennis Center on Wednesday evening. The Bearcats advance to 5-4, while the Maccabees drop to 1-8.
Junior
Alexa Hymowitz earned her first collegiate victory, taking the fourth singles flight in a super tiebreaker, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 1-0 (10-5).
Freshman
Ambre Cherki teamed with senior
Sarah Hiller to win at No. 2 doubles, 8-2, and came back to win the third singles position, 6-2, 6-4.
Yeshiva will return to action in the spring.
