IMMACULATA, Pa. – Five members of the Yeshiva University women's cross country team competed in the Immaculata Invitational, out in Pennsylvania, on Thursday afternoon. The Maccabees finished fourth overall with 82 points.
Senior
Ayelet Itzhak finished 13
th overall, completing the 3k race in 14:10. Junior
Amanda Kasztl was the 17
th runner to cross the finish line, at 14:42. Sophomore
Sarah Russman and senior
Shira Perton finished 30
th and 31
st respectively, with the former completing the race in 17:07, and the latter crossing the finish line four seconds later. Senior
Libbie Brooks rounded out the Yeshiva runners (38
th overall at 19:58).
The Maccabees will compete in the Skyline Conference championships, on Thursday, October 25. The 6k race will take place at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
