NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team dropped two conference matches during the Skyline tri-match, at the ARC Arena, on Sunday afternoon. Yeshiva lost in three sets to St. Joseph's College Long Island, and then fell to the College of Mount Saint Vincent, 3-0.
In the match against the Golden Eagles (18-10, 6-1 Skyline), set scores were 25-6, 25-10, and 25-5. Senior outside hitter
Batya Schreier slammed home a pair of kills and scored a service ace, while senior middle blocker
Abigail Epstein had a team-high four digs. Senior setter
Ellie Chase anchored the defense with three digs, while classmate
Ilana Karp and sophomore setter
Julie Chase registered two digs apiece. Sophomore outside hitter
Rebekah Bargraser produced a dig of her own.
In the loss to Mount Saint Vincent (9-15, 6-4 Skyline), set scores were 25-10, 25-6, and 25-4. Schreier had a match-high seven digs to go along with three assists and one kill. Sophomore middle blocker
Tehilla Teigman slammed home a team-high five kills and helped out the defense with three digs.
Ellie Chase had three digs and a service ace, while Bargraser had an ace, a dig, and a helper. Epstein produced an assist with a pair of digs, while senior libero
Melissa Stock helped out with three digs on defense. Karp produced a pair of digs.

Yeshiva (1-12, 0-7 Skyline) will host Maritime College on Wednesday, in a Skyline Conference matchup at the Dwight Athletic Center, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
