PURCHASE, N.Y. -  The Yeshiva University women's soccer team suffered a Skyline Conference loss to Purchase College, 6-0, on the Purchase College Soccer Field on Friday morning. The Panthers advance to 2-6 overall, and 1-2 in the conference, while the Maccabees drop to 0-6 as a whole, and 0-3 in Skyline play.

The Panthers scored four goals in the opening period, and then added a pair of tallies in the second half. Rebecca Colgan scored the first three goals for Purchase, and then added an assist in the second half. Brett Robison produced a goal and an assist, while Allie Scarpa and Jessica Warren each added a goal of their own. Gabby Castles, Breann McKeon, and Ana Jaco each chipped in with an assist.

In goal, Amber Yarter stopped three shots to earn the shutout-victory. For the Maccabees, junior goalkeeper Gabriella Chutter started the match and made eight saves, while sophomore Rivka Lindenblatt entered in relief and turned aside six shots. Sophomore defender Elizabeth Pavel executed three shots on goal for Yeshiva. For the match, Purchase had the edge in corner kicks, 5-2.

The Maccabees will host the Privateers of Maritime College, in a Skyline Conference match at Randall's Island Field 10, on Sunday morning. The contest is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
