Bowdoin dominated throughout the season with a 19-1 record on its way to its second consecutive New England Small College Athletic Conference championship. The one blemish on Bowdoin's resume was an 8-1 loss to Middlebury College, back in April. However, the Polar Bears defeated the Panthers in the NESCAC championship match to earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
The Polar Bears won the national championship in 2016.
For Bowdoin, Luke Tercek and Grant Urken were named to the First Team All-NESCAC. The two student-athletes qualified as individuals to the NCAA championships in both singles and doubles play.
