BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's tennis team was narrowly defeated by Sarah Lawrence College, 5-4, in a Skyline match on the SLC Tennis Courts on Thursday evening. The Gryphons advance to 1-0 in the conference and 1-1 overall, while the Maccabees drop to 0-2 in the Skyline and 0-4 as a whole.
Yeshiva won two out of three doubles flights, but Sarah Lawrence responded by going 4-2 in singles competition to earn the conference win.

Bailey Frohlich teamed up with classmate
Shana Adler to win at No. 1 doubles, 8-6. Frohlich came back to win the first singles position, 6-1, 6-1, while Adler was victorious in the second singles flight, 6-0, 6-2.
Sophomore
Alexandra Huberfeld and senior
Sarah Hiller combined forces to win at No. 2 doubles, 8-3. They won a set at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively, but each individual fell short in three sets.
Yeshiva will travel to Patchogue, N.Y. on Sunday, for a Skyline match against St. Joseph's Long Island. First serve is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
