NEW YORK – The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team suffered a Skyline Conference loss to Mount Saint Mary College, in straight sets, at the ARC Arena on Tuesday evening. Set scores were 25-5, 25-11, and 25-6.
Leading the way for the Maccabees (0-17, 0-11 Skyline) was senior middle blocker
Tehilla Teigman who tallied five kills and contributed on defense with four digs. Senior right side hitter
Batya Schreier and sophomore middle blocker
Rena Kahn also had four digs each, with the former adding two assists and a kill. Junior outside hitter
Rebekah Bargraser added a pair of kills, while sophomore middle blocker
Brooke Ratner provided two digs. Junior setter
Julie Chase added three bumps on the defensive end. First-year outside hitter
Suzanne Wallach and senior right side hitter
Ayelet Berger produced a dig each.
Yeshiva will return to the ARC Arena on Thursday evening, with a non-conference matchup against Pratt Institute, beginning at 8:00 p.m.
