BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team dropped two matches at the Hill Center, on Sunday afternoon. Yeshiva lost the first match to SUNY-Delhi, in straight sets, and were then defeated by host King's College (N.Y.), 3-0.
In the battle against SUNY-Delhi (2-0), set scores were 25-1, 25-11, and 25-16. After Yeshiva (0-3) dropped the first two games, sophomore outside hitter
Maya Rosen scored a service ace to put to Blue and White up, 5-2, in the third set. Later in the stanza, senior right side hitter
Ayelet Berger added an ace of her own to give the Macs a 7-4 advantage. The Broncos countered with a 6-0 run to take the lead for good and went on to win the set, 25-16, to clinch the sweep.

Batya Schreier led all players with nine digs. Junior setter
Brooke Ratner added six digs, while classmate
Rebekah Bargraser slammed home three kills.
In the contest against King's College (N.Y.) (1-1) set scores were 25-9, 25-11, and 25-15. Schreier once again had a match-high in digs, producing five, while adding just as many assists. Rosen slammed home four kills, Bargraser tallied three digs, and Ratner provided three assists.
Yeshiva will travel to the Bronx on Wednesday, for a non-conference match against Lehman College. First serve is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
