MAHWAH, N.J. - The Yeshiva University men's tennis team dropped its 2019-20 season opener to Ramapo College, 7-2, at the Athletic Center on Tuesday evening.
The Maccabees (0-1) went 2-1 in doubles play, but dropped all six singles matchups. Sophomore

Eitan Jeselsohn combined forces to earn a narrow 8-7 victory, at the second flight. Veterans

Samuel Edery just fell short at No. 3 doubles, 8-7.
Cohen got off to a strong start at No. 1 singles, winning the first set by a score of 7-6, but ended up losing in the third set tiebreaker. After falling in the opening set, Brik won the second at No. 2 singles, 6-4. The Zichron Yaakov native just fell short in the tiebreaker, 11-9. First-year player
Anthony Lallouz won the opening set at the fourth position, but dropped the second stanza and the tiebreaker.
The defending six-time Skyline champions will begin the spring season in February.
