TEANECK, N.J. — The Yeshiva University men's soccer team dropped a Skyline Conference match to Farmingdale State by a score of 6-1 at Votee Park on Tuesday afternoon.

The Rams (4-5, 1-0 Skyline) struck first in the conference showdown, scoring 10:46 into the game, and followed up with another tally at 14:24.

The Macs (2-6-1, 0-5-1 Skyline) answered with a goal of their own 25 minutes later, when they took advantage of a corner kick opportunity at 39:52. Freshman defenseman
Kevin Kozba found first-year player
Refael Minsky, who slipped the ball past FSC's goalie, marking the first goal of the forward's young career. The Rams responded shortly after, notching another goal before the first-half would come to a close, extending their lead to 3-1.

The second half would be all Farmingdale State, as the away team tacked on three more goals, and cruised to the 6-1 victory.

For the Macs, sophomore forward
Ethan Fettaya led the offensive attack, firing off four shots, three of them on goal. Junior forward
Zachary Stauber contributed with three shots, two coming on goal. Sophomore goalkeeper
Nicolas Dlugach set aside six shots, while freshman
Benjamin Brener stopped a pair of shots in relief.

The Maccabees will return to the field on October 3, when they welcome Purchase College for a Skyline Conference contest taking place at Fleming Park, in Yonkers. Match time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
