PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team dropped its Skyline Conference match to Manhattanville College, in straight sets, at Kennedy Gymnasium on Thursday evening. Set scores were 25-4, 25-5, and 25-8.
The Maccabees (0-13, 0-8 Skyline) managed to pull to within 5-4 in the opening set, but the Valiants (10-4, 2-0 Skyline) scored 20 unanswered points to clinch the first set. After dropping the second game, Yeshiva jumped out to an early lead in the third stanza. However, Manhattanville generated another big rally, this time scoring 14 straight points, to put the set out of reach for the Macs. The Valiants went on two win their second league match of the season.

Tehilla Teigman slammed home a pair of kills. Junior setter
Julie Chase contributed on defense with four digs, and added a service ace, while sophomore middle blocker
Rena Kahn added three digs and junior outside hitter
Rebekah Bargraser provided two bumps on defense. Senior right side hitter
Ayelet Berger and first-year outside hitter
Suzanne Wallach each produced a dig.
Yeshiva will host Maritime College, on Thursday, October 24, at the College of Staten Island. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
