PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team fell in its Skyline Conference matchup to Manhattanville College in three games, at Kennedy Gymnasium, on Sunday afternoon. Set scores were 25-2, 25-7, and 25-2.
The Valiants (10-4, 4-1 Skyline) never trailed at any point in the match.
Leading the way for Yeshiva (0-3, 0-3 Skyline) was sophomore libero
Aleesa Elbaum who anchored the defense with five digs. Senior outside hitter
Maya Rosen generated a pair of digs and a kill, while sophomore middle blocker
Hannah Aaron scored a kill and produced a dig. Junior setter
Tali Miller chipped in offense with a kill and two assists, while junior right side hitter Devora Batt added a kill and an assist of her own. Sophomore setter
Ashley Botnick recorded an assist and classmate
Keren Raskin had a dig.
For Manhattanville, junior middle blocker Hannah Pena led all players with 13 kills.
Yeshiva will host Maritime College, at the Max Stern Athletic Center, on Tuesday evening. First serve is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
