PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Yeshiva University women's soccer team's three-match scoring streak came to an end on Tuesday afternoon, as the Maccabees were blanked by the Valiants of Manhattanville College, 12-0, at GoValiants.com Field.
Manhattanville (7-2-2, 5-0-1 Skyline) tallied seven goals in the opening half and then added five more in the final 45 minutes of the contest.
Leading the way for the Maccabees (0-5, 0-5 Skyline) was sophomore goalkeeper
Sophie Dubin who made a career-high 27 saves. Going into today, she was ranked No. 2 in the country with an average of 16.75 saves per match.
Yeshiva will continue Skyline play on Thursday, with a matchup against SUNY Old Westbury, at the Athletic Field at Marillac in Riverdale, N.Y. The contest is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
