PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's tennis team's historic Skyline winning streak came to an end on Friday afternoon, as YU fell to Manhattanville College by a score of 9-0, at the Manhattanville Tennis Courts. Yeshiva had previously won 38 consecutive Skyline matches. The last time Yeshiva was defeated in a conference match was back on April 6, 2014 (5-4 loss to Mount Saint Mary College).

Eitan Jeselsohn lost a hard-fought No. 1 doubles match, 8-7 (6).
The Maccabees were able to force three tiebreakers in singles play but could not come out on top in either of them. Senior
Aaron Cohen came back to win the second set (7-5) after dropping the opening set (6-1), at No. 1 singles, but lost the third-set tiebreaker by a score of 1-0 (10-8). Lallouz forced a tiebreaker in the second set at No. 2 singles but fell short, 7-5, 7-6 (4). Senior
Yoni Sacknovitz dropped a competitive No. 3 singles match, 7-6 (6), 7-5.
Yeshiva will look to start a new streak on Wednesday against Sarah Lawrence College. First serve at the Purchase College Tennis Courts is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
