FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's tennis team dropped its Skyline Conference match to Farmingdale State College, 6-3, at the Farmingdale State Tennis Courts on Sunday afternoon.
The Maccabees (1-2, 1-2 Skyline) were led by senior
Yoni Sacknovitz and second-year player
Eitan Jeselsohn as they teamed up to win the third doubles flight, 8-5. Sacknovitz continued his momentum into singles play, winning the fourth position, 6-2, 6-3. Jeselsohn was victorious at No. 5 singles, 7-6 (4), 6-3.
Yeshiva will resume its match against Sarah Lawrence College, that was suspended back on April 28, on Monday beginning at 5:30 p.m. The remainder of the match will take place on the campus of Sarah Lawrence College. The Maccabees had a 4-0 lead prior to the match being suspended.
