WEST HARRISON, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University baseball team dropped both games of its Skyline Conference doubleheader against College of Mount Saint Vincent, 16-2 and 22-2, at Silver Lake Park on Friday afternoon. Yeshiva drops to 2-15 overall, and 0-10 in the conference, while Mount Saint Vincent advances to 12-8 for the season (3-3 Skyline).
Senior
Rafi Jacobs got the start on the mound for Yeshiva in the opening contest. He held the Dolphins to just two runs over the first three innings. However, Mount Saint Vincent scored multiple runs in each of the remaining four innings to earn the victory in game one.
Yeshiva had a productive bottom of the sixth inning as rookie
Sammy Greenberg drew a walk and then eventually scored off an RBI double courtesy of senior

David Kreisberg drilled a double to left to score Blonder. During the game, juniors
David Price and
Eliyahu Solomon each worked a walk.
On the mound, Joe Decandia got the win for the Dolphins as he struck out seven batters in six innings pitched.
Yeshiva trailed 2-0 heading into the bottom of the first inning during game two. Senior
Max Leibowitz led off the frame by scorching the ball to deep center that landed on the field and rolled all the way to the wall for a triple. He eventually scored on an RBI groundout by Greenberg for YU's first run of the game. With a runner on second, and one out, Kreisberg drilled a double to right to score Rosenberg and allow the Maccabees to tie the game at two runs apiece. Sophomore
Joshua Mintz continued Yeshiva's momentum in the next at bat by singling up the middle to advance Kreisberg to third. However, Mount Saint Vincent was able to escape the jam without further damage.
The Dolphins' bats broke out in the top of the second inning, as the visiting team scored seven times during the frame. In the top of the sixth, sophomore Joey DiNorcia came up with the bases loaded and launched the ball over the center field wall for a grand slam. Mount Saint Vincent went on to win the conference game and earn the sweep.
For the Maccabees, Rosenberg and Kreisberg each went 2-for-3. Greenberg slapped a single.
For the Dolphins, senior Peter Sanderson got the win out of the bullpen by pitching two shutout innings.
Yeshiva will take on St. Joseph's College Long Island, at Gregg Alfano Field, on Sunday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
