Tomer Mendler won the second set, but fell short in the third-set tiebreaker. The set scores in the No. 1 singles battle were 6-3, 5-7, and 1-0 (4). Rookie
Akiva Ackerman won every game in the second set at No. 3 singles but fell short in the rubber set. Set scores were 6-4, 0-6, 6-3.
Yeshiva will battle Skyline foe Mount Saint Mary College (N.Y.), at the Mount Saint Mary College Tennis Courts, on Thursday afternoon. First serve is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
