PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's tennis team earned another Skyline Conference victory, on Friday morning, this time defeating Purchase College by a score of 8-1 at the Purchase College Tennis Courts. The Maccabees remain undefeated in league play at 6-0 (8-3 overall), while the Panthers drop to 2-4 in Skyline play and 3-9 for the season.
Yeshiva went 3-0 in doubles play and won five out of six singles matches to earn its eighth victory of the season.

Tomer Mendler and senior
Aaron Cohen earned a convincing win at No. 1 doubles, 8-2. Cohen won every game at No. 2 singles.
Seniors
Eitan Jeselsohn and
Eli Hanuka won a narrow second doubles flight, 8-6. Jeselsohn won at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 6-3, while Hanuka won all 12 games at the sixth position.
Senior
Yoni Mayer and rookie
Sion Jacobo earned a hard-fought victory at No. 3 doubles, 8-5. Mayer claimed the fourth singles position, 6-1, 6-1. Jacobo dominated at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-0.
The regular season finale will be a battle of two Skyline teams that are undefeated in league play, on Sunday afternoon, as Yeshiva hosts Manhattanville College. First serve at the Brookdale Park Tennis Center is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. The winner of the match will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Skyline Conference Championships.
