BROOKLYN – The Yeshiva University softball team dropped two ends of its non-conference doubleheader to Brooklyn College, both by scores of 12-0, at Brooklyn College Field on Tuesday evening.

Shai Rahamim struck out a batter in four innings for YU. For Brooklyn, freshman Danielle Guzzardi got the win as she struck out ten batters in five innings pitched.

In the second game, Brooklyn College scored seven runs in the first frame to take the lead for good. Â Guzzardi did not allow a hit, and struck out nine batters, in five innings pitched to earn her second victory of the afternoon. Zrihen was in the circle for the Maccabees and struck out a batter during her four innings of work.
Yeshiva will host SUNY Old Westbury, in a Skyline doubleheader at Overpeck Park, on Wednesday evening. First pitch is slated for 7:00 p.m.
