NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. – The Yeshiva University women's soccer team dropped its Skyline Conference match to Manhattanville College, 9-0, at the Riverside Park Soccer Field on Sunday afternoon.

Sophomore goalkeeper Daniella Bessler made 11 saves for the Maccabees (0-8, 0-7 Skyline). She has now reached double figures in saves during all seven of her starts this season.

The Valiants (1-5, 1-0 Skyline) were held to three goals in the first half but exploded for six tallies during the final 45 minutes of play. Rookie Macey Girard earned the shutout victory in net.

Yeshiva will take on Sarah Lawrence College, at Fleming field, on Tuesday evening. Match time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
