FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's soccer team had a strong effort on Tuesday afternoon but fell to the defending Skyline Conference Champion Farmingdale State Rams, by a score of 10-0, at the Farmingdale State Soccer Stadium.

Daniella Bessler once again reached double figures in saves with 15. She is now averaging 22.3 saves per match this season.
The Rams tallied four goals in the opening half, and then added six more in the second stanza. The defending champs were led by freshman midfielder Alyse Rivera and senior defender Celina Schenk who each scored two goals. Fourth-year forward Julissa Martinez notched a goal with four assists.
Yeshiva will continue its five-match season-opening road trip on Thursday evening with a non-conference matchup at Purchase College. The action begins at 7:00 p.m.
