BRONX, NY - Seeing markedly better results than in previous weeks, the Yeshiva women's soccer team fell to the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Wednesday, Oct. 18 by a score of 6-0.
The Maccabees performed much better against the Dolphins than they have in recent contests, holding their opponent to single digits for the first time in over a month. This defensive improvement translated directly to the scoresheet, as despite securing three early goals, CMSV was held scoreless for nearly 65 minutes of play, not finding paydirt in between the 15th and 79th minutes.
On the offensive end of the ball, the Macs created opportunities to find the back of the net, notching two shots on the night, including a shot on goal in the 81st minute from midfielder
Agam Halperin.
With the result, the Macs are now 0-9, 0-9 in conference play.
