ORANGEBURG, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's tennis team dropped a non-conference contest to NCAA Division II Dominican University of New York, 7-0, at Match Point Tennis Club on Wednesday afternoon.
Leading the way for the Maccabees (0-5) was rookie
Michael Natkin, who won three games at No. 1 singles. Senior
Eitan Jeselsohn added four game-victories in the third singles position, while sophomore
Mark Adler won a pair of games in each set on the fifth court.
In doubles, earlier in the day, the duo of senior
Yoni Mayer and first-year player
Israel Bussu won a game at the second position.
Yeshiva will battle Baruch College, in a non-conference contest at Edgewater Tennis Center, on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. The Bearcats will serve as the official home team.
