NEW YORK - The Yeshiva University men's volleyball team fell to Ramapo College, in straight sets at Max Stern Athletic Center, on Thursday evening. Set scores were 25-8, 25-9, and 25-10.
The Roadrunners (10-6, 4-0 Skyline) led from wire-to-wire in each of the first two sets and never trailed during the third game.
Leading the way for the Maccabees (4-12, 1-6 Skyline) was senior outside hitter
Shmuel Aberman who slammed home four kills and and anchored the defense with five digs and two blocks. Freshman setter
Eli Waxman provided five assists and four digs, while sophomore outside hitter
Eidan Horn and junior middle blocker
Lavi Friedman each generated two kills. Graduate right side hitter
Michael Stark added five digs. Rookie setter
Zanvy Lesnoy scored a kill, tallied a block, and recorded a pair of digs.
Yeshiva will battle College of Mount Saint Vincent, at Peter Jay Sharp Center, on Sunday afternoon. First serve is scheduled for noon.
