BRONX - The Yeshiva University baseball team dropped both ends of its Skyline doubleheader to College of Mount Saint Vincent, 13-0 and 25-0, at Roberto Clemente Park on Friday afternoon.
The highlight for the Maccabees (0-13, 0-4 Skyline) was sophomore catcher
Mendy Kanofsky who went 3-for-3 with a double during the second contest.
In game one, the Dolphins (9-6, 2-0 Skyline) exploded for five runs in the second and never looked back.
Junior third baseman
Sammy Greenberg reached base with a single and a walk in the opening contest for Yeshiva. Senior right fielder
Eliyahu Solomon also slapped a single, while rookie pitcher
Jacob Shakin earned a base on balls at the plate.
Shakin struck out six batters in five innings on the mound for the Maccabees. Freshman pitcher Will Granata earned the win for the Dolphins by striking out seven batters in five innings pitched.
In game two, the Dolphins scored six runs in the opening frame to take the lead for good.

Jacob Rodin, first-year right fielder
Noah Shatkin, and Greenberg each produced a single for the Macs. Senior left fielder
David Price worked a walk.
For the Dolphins, rookie Michael Iocco picked up the win on the mound by pitching five shutout innings.
Yeshiva will continue its Skyline road trip on Sunday, with a pair of games at United States Merchant Marine Academy, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
