NEW YORK – The third-seeded Yeshiva University men's tennis team will battle No. 2-seeded Farmingdale State College, in the semifinal round of the Skyline Conference Championships, on Thursday evening. First serve at the Farmingdale State Tennis Courts is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. The winner of this match will earn the right to play for the Skyline Conference Championship and automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Tournament, this weekend.

Yeshiva (7-10, 5-2 Skyline) is coming off a convincing victory in the first round of the Skyline Conference Championships over No. 6-seeded St. Joseph's University Long Island, 5-0, at Brookdale Park Tennis Center on Tuesday evening. Senior
Eitan Jeselsohn led the way by winning two courts. First, he teamed up with rookie
Pinny Balsam to win every game at No. 3 doubles and then he clinched the playoff win for the Maccabees by securing a victory at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-1.
Farmingdale State (12-3, 6-1 Skyline) has been led by senior Mark Baker who is 12-1 at No. 1 singles flights and 12-1 in No. 1 doubles matchups this season.
The Maccabees dropped their regular season head-to-head matchup with the Rams, 7-2, back on March 26. Farmingdale State won all three doubles flights and then went 4-2 in singles play. For YU during that match, Jeselsohn picked up the win at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 7-6 (7). Rookie
Mark Adler earned a hard-fought win at the fifth singles position, 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-6).
