NEW YORK -  A duo of Yeshiva University men's cross country graduating seniors, Marshall Northman and Jake Greenberg, were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men's Cross Country team on Wednesday afternoon. This prestigious program honors student-athletes who succeed both in athletics and in academics.

This season, Northman earned a spot on the All-Skyline first team for the second year in a row and was selected as the Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The Shaker Heights, Ohio native was also honored as the Yeshiva University Male Graduating Student-Athlete of the Year (individual sports), and was the recipient of the Stanley Watson Award for the second consecutive year, at the Athletic Department's Annual Awards Dinner. Throughout his career, Northman set program 8k course records at three different locations and was the top finisher in two races. The political science and government major is a two-time Skyline Runner of the Week honoree. A two-time Skyline Academic Honor Roll recipient, Northman has an overall GPA of 3.98.

Greenberg earned a spot on the All-Skyline second team during his senior campaign. The Cedarhurst, N.Y. native finished 13^th overall out of 98 runners, completing the 8k race in 29:33, at the 2022 Skyline Conference Championship Meet. Earlier this year, the computer science major ran an 8k race in a personal-best time of 28:31 at the Golden Eagle Invitational. Greenberg has an overall GPA of 3.60 and earned a spot on the Skyline Academic Honor Roll twice.

Thanks to earning a spot on the CSC Academic All-District team, Northman and Greenberg are now eligible for Academic All-America. Voting will take place by College Sports Communicators throughout the country from May 31 until June 7. The CSC Academic All-America team will be announced on Thursday, June 29.
