Ice Hockey Shows Out In Inagural Game Against Stevens

HOBOKEN, NJ - Yeshiva University's debut hockey game against Stevens University was nothing short of exhilarating! After an opening period in which the Maccabees got acclimated to intercollegiate hockey, the action really picked up in the second period of play.  Midway through the second period, the crowd erupted with excitement as Ariel Greenberg and Joshua Lando, true standouts, netted impressive goals. The electric moment was heightened when team Captain Sol Feder's assist brilliantly set up Greenberg's goal, showcasing the team's seamless collaboration. Amidst the intense action, goalie Matt Loren emerged as a true hero, facing a whopping 40 shots with unwavering determination. The excitement reached a fever pitch as Yeshiva embraced a more physical style of play in the second and third periods, injecting a new level of intensity into the game. 
This thrilling debut not only showcased individual talents like Greenberg, Lando, Feder, and Loren but also hinted at the promising future of Yeshiva's hockey program. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, leaving fans eager for more unforgettable moments in the games to come.

The Macs return to the ice Sunday, Feb. 4 against the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
