BRONXVILLE, NY - Picking up a match that was delayed by two days due to inclement weather, the Yeshiva men's tennis team felled Sarah Lawrence College, defeating the Gryphons by a score of 9-0 on Tuesday, Apr. 16.
The Maccabees got off to a hot start in doubles play, winning all three matches to carry a 3-0 lead into singles. Not allowing their momentum to dissipate, YU continued to push in singles play, taking all six contests in quick fashion and securing their first shutout of the season in the process.
With the win, the Macs are now 5-9, 3-3 in conference play.

- Not content to rest on their laurels, YU continued firing on all cylinders, taking all six matchups in blowout fashion.
- From the first to last seeded matches, the Maccabees shone, with Pfeifer (6-1, 6-1), Adler (6-0, 6-1), Isaac Betesh (6-3, 6-4), Ronen Rozenman (6-1, 6-0), Jose Hambra (6-2, 6-1) and Elan Goldstein (6-3, 6-0) all winning in straight sets.
