MORRISTOWN, NJ - Playing their final non-conference road match of the season, the Yeshiva Women's Volleyball Team fell at Saint Elizabeth University, losing to the Eagles by a score of 3-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 21st.
Offensively, the Maccabees were led by
Elle Ohayon, with the junior tallying three kills on the night.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Macs were anchored by
Shany Elmaleh, who notched five digs.
With the result, the Macs are now 2-8.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Maccabees struggled in the first set. YU only scored three points on a trio of service errors, falling, 25-3.
- YU's offense finally found life in the second set, seeing three kills from Ohayon. However, the effort was not enough to match the Eagles' firepower, with the Macs ultimately dropping the period, 25-14.
- Yeshiva's attack once again faltered in the third set, not scoring a kill until Saint Elizabeth had taken a 17-5 lead. YU's point total would not make it to the double digits, losing 25-9.
