BRONX, NY - Kicking off conference play, the Yeshiva University Softball Team hosted the St. Joseph's University Long Island Golden Eagles, ultimately dropping the double header by scores of 0-22 and 0-23 on Sunday, March 9th.
The dynamic duo of
Galit Roth and
Tali Schimmel once again led the way for the Maccabees, with each recording a hit across the two games.

With the losses, the Macs are now 0-4, 0-2 in conference play

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1 (L, 0-22)
- Yeshiva's only hit came in the bottom of the second when Roth singled to center field. She later advanced to second after Schimmel was hit by a pitch.

- That was the only offensive highlight for the Macs in the first game, as the Golden Eagles dominated at the plate, scoring six runs in the first inning, eight in the second, and four more in both the fourth and fifth.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 2 (L, 0-23)
- The Macs started strong in the second game, as Schimmel led off with a single to right field.

- Despite their strong start, Yeshiva was unable to generate any more hits, allowing the Golden Eagles to claim their second win of the day.
