NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Taking the diamond for the first time since before Passover Break, the Yeshiva Softball Team fell to Purchase College, dropping a doubleheader to the Panthers by scores of 18-0 and 15-0 on Friday, Apr. 25th.

With the result, the Macs are now 1-21, 0-12 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1 (L, 18-0)
- Yeshiva's offense struggled to get things going in game one, managing just one baserunner when Talia Finn smacked a single to center field in the bottom of the fifth inning.

- Unfortunately, the Maccabee pitching staff could not keep the Purchase bats in check, surrendering two runs in the first, three in the second, seven in the third, three in the fourth and three in the fifth.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 2 (L, 15-0)
- The Maccabee attack did not fare much better in game two, once again seeing just one baserunner when Finn reached on an error in the bottom of the second.

- Yeshiva's pitching suffered similarly, allowing seven runs in the first, six in the second, one in the third and one in the fourth.
