TEANECK, NJ - In a day that saw new levels of excellence set, the Yeshiva Baseball Team fell to The College at Old Westbury, dropping a doubleheader to the Panthers by scores of 12-2 and 7-4 on Sunday, Apr. 27th.
Before game one, the Macs took a moment to honor a trio of graduating seniors, thanking
Mendy Kanofsky,
Aharon Weiden and
Sammy Greenberg for their indelible contributions to the program.
The Maccabees were led by
Jake Arnow, with the sophomore tallying a statline of five hits (two doubles), two runs and two RBIs on the day. His quintet of hits and pair of doubles brought his season totals to 35 and 11 respectively, both new all-time program record. Surpassing the previous marks of 32 and nine, Arnow has set new standards of greatness with four games still left in the season.
With the result, the Macs are now 1-23, 0-16 in conference play.

- Unfortunately, the Macs' success was not enough to keep up with Old Westbury's production, with the Panthers tallying two runs in the first, two in the second, two in the third, one in the fifth, two in the sixth and three in the seventh.
