OLD WESTBURY, NY - Hitting the road for the final time in the 2024-25 season, the Yeshiva Softball Team fell to The College at Old Westbury, losing to the Panthers by scores of 21-1 and 15-1 on Friday, May 2nd.

The Maccabees were led by
Simone Amkraut and
Hadassah Greenberg, with Amkraut tallying a run in game one, while Greenberg notched a hit and a run in game two.

With the result the Macs are now 1-25, 0-16 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1 (L, 21-1)
- Yeshiva's offense managed two base runners through the first three innings, with Tali Schimmel smacking a single to center field in the top of the second, and Alyssa Feldman reaching on an error in the top of the third.

- The Macs finally broke through in the fourth, with Amkraut getting to first on a walk before coming home on a passed ball. However, the effort was not enough to usurp Old Westbury's hold on the contest, with the Macs falling, 21-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 2 (L, 15-1)
- The Macss tallied their one and only run of game two in the top of the fifth. Greenberg reached on a single to the pitcher, before being brought home by a base hit from Tali Finkelstein.

- However, Yeshiva's pitching staff was not able to keep the Panther bats in check, surrendering two runs in the first, nine in the second, two in the third and two in the fourth.
