NEW YORK, NY - Proving their ability not only on the court but in the classroom, Yeshiva's Men's Basketball program has garnered a plethora of academic awards from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

The team as a whole earned the Team Academic Excellence Award, given to squads who maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
On an individual level, six players cemented themselves a place on the NABC Honors Court, with:
Zevi Samet,
Max Zakheim,
Ezra Sicklick,
Roy Itcovichi,
Effy Freundlich and
Tom Beza all securing the honor by maintaining a 3.2 GPA or higher over the past year.
About the awards, NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson had to say, "Education is one of the NABC's five core values, and we are proud to recognize the academic accomplishments of these programs and individual student-athletes across our sport. The dedication and hard work of these athletes, along with their coaches and support staff members who prioritize academic success, deserves to be widely celebrated."
