MILTON, NY - Competing in their first conference meet of the season, the Yeshiva Women's Cross Country Team took part in the MSMC Invitational, hosted by Mount Saint Mary College on Sunday, Sept. 14th.
Seeing competition from around the region in the 5000 meters, the Maccabees ran against: Hunter College, St. Thomas Aquinas College, Dominican University, the University of Mount Saint Vincent, Mount Saint Mary College and Queensborough Community College.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, the Macs placed fourth, finishing with a score of 110, ahead of UMSV, Mount Saint Mary and Queensborough.
- On an individual level, the Maccabees saw a standout performance from Aliza Feldman, as the rookie runner placed sixth with a time of 23:52.8.
- Also finishing in the top 30, Sydney Lugo placed 24th with a time of 28:02.9, Lily Hullman placed 27th with a time of 28:23.2, and Bryna Berger placed 28th with a time of 29:26.8.
- Rounding out the field for YU, Avivia Klahr finished 37th, Aliza Billet finished 41st, and Chaya Trapedo finished 43rd.

Not running again for two weeks, the Macs will take part in Queensborough Community College's Queensborough Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 28th.
