BRONX, NY - Wrapping up September on a high note, the Yeshiva Women's Cross Country Team competed in Queensborough Community College's Queensborough Invitational, finishing 12th of 20 teams on Sunday, Sept. 28th.
Matching up with a number of fellow Skyline schools as part of a larger field, the Maccabees ran the 5k race against: The United States Merchant Marine Academy, Sarah Lawrence College, Maritime College, St. Joseph's University Brooklyn, St. Joseph's University Long Island, Farmingdale State College and the University of Mount Saint Vincent.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, the Maccabees placed 12th of 20 teams, beating out the likes of: SJBK, John Jay College, SJLI, Farmingdale, Union Community College, UMSV, The City College of New York and Queensborough Community College.
- On an individual level, the Macs were led by Moselle Goldstein, as the senior placed 13th with a time of 23:17.6.
- Also finishing in the top 50, Alyssa Feldman slotted in at 27th with a time of 24:56.4.
- Rounding out the field for YU, Bryna Berger finished 78th, Elza Koslowe finished 93rd, Lily Hullman finished 106th, Aviva Klahr finished 108th and Chaya Trapedo finished 149th.

Not running again until after the holidays, the Macs will compete in the MSMC Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 19th at 11:00 AM.
