NEW YORK, NY - Capping a performance that will go down in the Yeshiva Athletics history books, Zevi Samet has earned both Skyline Player of the Week and MWBA Honorable Mention Accolades.

Samet garnered the honors after leading the Maccabees to a pair of conference wins, posting 24 points versus Purchase College, and 23 points versus St. Joseph's University Brooklyn. In the second half against SJBK, the Monsey Mamba pushed his career point total to 2,163, officially passing the legendary Ryan Turell to become the all-time leading scorer in Yeshiva Basketball history.
 
Samet and Men's Basketball are set to return to the court on Saturday, Jan. 24th, when they will host Farmingdale State College.
