QUEENS, NY - Playing in their penultimate regular season match, the Yeshiva Women's Tennis Team fell to Manhattanville University, losing to the Valiants by a score of 6-1 on Sunday, Oct. 18th.
Before the game, the Maccabees honored their three graduating seniors, thanking
Eliana Tilem,
Hannah Cohen, and
Leebee Bendheim for the commitment and contributions to the program.
The Macs struggled early, dropping all three doubles matches to carry a 1-0 deficit into singles play. While YU was able to pick up a point in the No. 6 seeded match, the effort was not enough to rally a comeback, as the women in blue and white fell, 6-1.
With the result, YU is now 3-4, 3-3 in conference play.
