NEW YORK, NY - Taking on their first Skyline opponent of the season, the Yeshiva Softball Team took on Purchase College in a doubleheader, losing both games by scores of 14-0 and 17-0 on Sunday, Mar. 15th.

The Maccabees were led by
Aliza Feldman, with the senior tallying a hit and reaching base twice.

With the result, the Macs are now 0-5, 0-2 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1 (L, 14-0)
- Yeshiva struggled in game one, not managing a hit, and putting just two runners on base when Shira Pfeiffer and Maya Dennen drew walks. Unfortunately, both runners were left stranded.

- Purchase took full advantage of YU's woes, tallying nine runs in the first inning, one in the second, and four in the third.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 2 (L, 17-0)
- The Maccabees found more success in the batters box in game two, with Feldman, Eliana Kieffer, and Ariela Haftel all tallying hits. However, none of those efforts would result in a run.

- The Panthers notched 10 runs in the first, six in the second, and one in the third.
