SANATOGA, PA - Traveling out to Eastern Pennsylvania, the Yeshiva Baseball team fell to the University of Valley Forge, dropping a doubleheader to the Patriots by scores of 12-3 and 24-2 on Wednesday, Mar. 18th.

The Maccabees were led by
Josh Paskoff, with the rookie tallying three hits, a run, and an RBI across the two contests.

With the result, the Macs are now 0-10 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1 (L, 12-3)
- Yeshiva jumped out to an early lead in game one, going up 1-0 in the top of the second inning. After reaching on a single, Reuben Benzaquen advanced to second on an error, and then to third on a balk. He was then driven home when Simmy Goldberger smacked a single into the outfield.

- Despite stellar pitching from Zach Magerman, YU's advantage would not last, with Valley Forge tying the game in the bottom of the inning, and then jumping out to a seven-run lead with three in the third and four in the fifth.

- The Maccabees tallied two more runs in the sixth, when Jacob Canner and Eli Zirdok both stomped on home plate, but the effort was not enough to erase YU's deficit, as the Macs lost, 12-3.

- Yeshiva fell behind early, surrendering five runs in the second, 17 in the third, and two in the fifth.

- The Maccabee bats finally came alive in the fifth, when Paskoff drove in Noah Steinmetz and then came home himself on an error by the first baseman, but by then the game was out of reach, with YU losing, 24-2.
