NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Taking the diamond for one last time before Passover break, the Yeshiva Softball Team fell to The College at Old Westbury, dropping a doubleheader to the Panthers by scores of 27-0 and 25-0 on Sunday, Mar. 29th.

The Maccabees were led by
Aliza Feldman, with the senior tallying YU's only hit of the outing.

With the result, the Macs are now 0-13, 0-8 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1 (L, 27-0)
- The Maccabees struggled in game one, being held without a hit. Yeshiva managed two baserunners, when Elisheva Trapedo reached on an error in the second inning, and when Feldman reached on an error in the fourth. Both were left stranded.

- The Panthers had no such offensive struggles, putting up eight runs in the first, six in the second, five in the third, four in the fourth and three in fifth.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 2 (L, 25-0)
- Yeshiva saw more success in game two, putting up a hit when Feldman singled to right field in the bottom of the first. While she advanced to second on a passed ball, she was unfortunately left stranded by a groundout.

- The Macs' other baserunner came in the fourth, when Simone Amkraut reached on a walk.

- Old Westbury tallied 10 runs in the first inning, eight in the second, five in the third, and two in the fifth.

Not playing again until after Pesach, the Maccabees will travel out to St. Joseph's University Long Island on Thursday, Apr. 16th.
