NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Playing at home for the first time since the end of March, the Yeshiva Softball Team fell to Farmingdale State College, dropping a doubleheader by scores of 18-0 and 12-1 on Sunday, Apr. 19th.

The Maccabees were led by
Elle Ohayon, with the catcher tallying an inside-the-park home run in game two.

With the result, the Maccabees are now 0-19, 0-12 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1 (L, 18-0)
- The Maccabees managed two hits in game one, with Maya Dennen singling up the middle in the first inning, and Eliana Kieffer smacking a double to center field in the fifth. Unfortunately, neither of those efforts resulted in runs, with both runners being left stranded.

- Farmingdale had no such offensive struggles, putting up eight runs in the first, three in the second, five in the third, and two in the fourth.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 2 (L, 12-1)
- Yeshiva's highlight of the day came early in game two. Stepping up to the plate as the second batter in rotation in the top of the first inning, Ohayon smacked an inside-the-park home run to left field, putting the Maccabees on the board for the first time.

- However, YU could not capitalize on that success, as the Macs only managed one more hit.

- Farmingdale notched four runs in the first, two in the second, and six in the third.
