RIVERDALE, NY - Losing for the first time in the Fall 2026 season, the Yeshiva Men's Soccer Team fell to the University of Mount Saint Vincent, coming up short against the Dolphins by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday, Sep. 9th.
With the result, the Macs are now 2-1-1, 0-1-1 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both squads were held scoreless through the first half. Yeshiva's defense stepped up, limiting UMSV's attack to just five shots on goal. On the other side of the ball, the Maccabee offense created opportunities, launching three shots that required saving towards the Dolphin keeper.
- However, the 0-0 deadlock would not last into the latter 45 minutes of the contest. UMSV struck in the 49th minute, putting the Macs down, 1-0.
- Yeshiva attempted a response, with both Miles Form and Hadar Lavinsky placing shots on goal, yet neither found paydirt.
- The Dolphins expanded their lead in the 82nd and 83rd minutes, tallying two more goals. The Macs were unable to rally, and ultimately fell, 3-0.
