FLUSHING, NY - Taking the courts for the first time in the Fall of 2026, the Yeshiva Women's Tennis Team fell to Baruch College, losing to the Bearcats by a score of 7-0 on Thursday, Sep. 3rd.
The Maccabees got off to a slow start in doubles play, dropping both the No. 1 and No. 2 seeded matches to fall behind 1-0. Unfortunately, YU was unable to turn things around in singles, falling in all five matches to lose the contest, 7-0.
With the result, the Macs are now 0-1.

- Despite their best efforts, YU could not rally in singles. Schewitz (6-2, 6-0), Tilem (6-4, 6-4), Efrat Ohayon (6-0, 6-1), Rachel Hirt (6-1, 6-1), and Hannah Cohen (6-3, 6-2) all fell in straight sets, confirming Yeshiva's 7-0 loss.
