NEW YORK, NY – The men's soccer team dropped a non-conference match-up with York College on Sunday, 7-0 on the road. The loss drops Yeshiva to 3-8 on the season.
The Maccabees were denied on 5 different occasions by the York goalkeeper, while the offense was held to 7 total shots. Yeshiva forced York offsides 15 times while committing 8 fouls as a team.
Joshua Pransky played the entire game in goal for the Macs, stopping 8 of the 15 shots he faced.
The Maccabees will return to action on Wednesday when they take on conference competitor St. Joseph's College. The game is slated for an 8PM start at Tibbetts Brook Park.
