NEW YORK, NY – The men's soccer team hosted Bard College at Silver Lake Park last night, in a game that had playoff implications for the visiting Raptors. Bard's 5-0 win gave them the final spot in the Skyline playoffs. The Maccabees fell to 1-10-1 on the season.
Yeshiva had some good opportunities to score, but the opposing goalkeepers stopped each shot they saw, even making some diving saves on what looked to be sure goals for the Macs. Bard's offense was on target, with all 5 shots on goal being placed perfectly and finding the back of the net.
Barak Zigdon had 4 of Yeshiva's 7 shots on goal.
Aryeh Rosenberg had 2, and
Zachary Stern had the other.
Mark Rocklin played all 90 minutes in goal for the Maccabees.
Yeshiva has one Skyline conference game remaining against NYU-Poly on Thursday 9PM. The game is being played at Tibbetts Brook Park.
